Creative Flow: Drink and Draw Recap

Last Tuesday, In/Visible hosted our first ever Creative Flow – a Drink and Draw event at our studio space in Potrero Hill. Creative Flow is our new series of local community events focused on unplugging and reconnecting with our minds and our bodies as keys to the creative process. While this week’s salon was centered around drawing, each upcoming event will feature its own medium and prompt. Creative Flows, like all InVisible events, serve to bring together creatives from all walks of life, who might not otherwise cross paths, to foster collaboration, inspiration, and most importantly, community.

We want to thank everyone who came out for the impressive turnout on Tuesday! We had a wide range of attendees, from graphic designers and fine artists, to tech specialists and teachers. The mood was bright, cheerful, and synergetic, as attendees worked on their drawings both individually and in small groups. We even produced a couple of pieces collaboratively as a team by taking turns adding marks to a single page. As usual, we found ourselves inspired and motivated by each other’s creativity, and we were blown away by the results! If you couldn’t make it on Tuesday, not to worry! Our next Creative Flow is coming up in September, so stay posted for more info.
