In/Visible Talks is a conference for designers and creative thinkers to engage in conversation about the art of design. In/Visible showcases both the process and practice of design, celebrating the ups and downs, the mistakes-turned-success, the unintentional inspiration and the unexpected connections that occur along the way.
What is the Academic Attendance Grant?
In/Visible Talks in partnership with Google will select six students to receive an academic attendance grant. Students who are awarded the grant will be invited to attend the In/Visible Talks conference on January 11th, 2018 (worth $350 per ticket).
Students will also be invited to attend an exclusive offstage pre-conference event on January 10th, 2018 to meet one-on-one with Googlers and learn more about design at Google.
You must be a student in good academic standing at California College of the Arts or The Academy of Art
You must have an active Academy of Art or California College of the Arts student email
You must be able to attend BOTH the In/Visible Talks conference all day on Thursday, January 11th AND the pre-conference off the record event on Wednesday afternoon, January 10th
You must be willing to write a trip report (Max 1500 words, 1 per school) about the In/Visible Talks event and your overall experience.
